Cookie Policy
Duuzra uses cookies and similar technologies (collectively, “cookies” unless otherwise stated) on the website and mobile & web applications. Cookies help us provide you with a good experience when you use our services and allows us to optimize and secure our sites by remembering which users are logged in.
What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files with an ID that are stored on your browser that contain information to improve the experience and features you experience on the web. Cookies do not often contain personal information, but more commonly contain an identifier to remember you and link you back to information we store such as your login details.
Types of Cookie
Whether a cookie is ‘first’ or ‘third’ party refers to the domain placing the cookie.
First-party cookies on our sites are those set by us at either duuzra.com or withduuzra.com
Third-party cookies on our Site are cookies that are set by a domain or service, most commonly an integration to the Duuzra platform
Persistent cookies: these cookies remain on a user’s device for the period specified in the cookie. They are activated each time that the user visits the website that created that particular cookie.
Session cookies: these cookies allow website operators to link the actions of a user during a browser session. A browser session starts when a user opens the browser window and finishes when they close the browser window. Session cookies are created temporarily. Once you close the browser, all session cookies are deleted.
What is Local Storage?
Local Storage is a very similar web storage component which allows web pages to store information inside of your web browser. It stores information even when you close your browser, just like cookies, however, data is not sent to the web server unless it is explicitly sent by the web page. It is often used to remember preferences within a web application or to cache content to improve performance. Elements stored in Local Storage are covered in this policy and treated the same as cookies as information stored in these elements is sent back to the server.
Managing Cookies & Local Storage
Most web browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies and delete cookies. If you block cookies whilst using Duuzra services, many features will not work, and you will have a poor experience. More information about how you can block, delete & manage cookies and local storage can be found below:
