Session cookies: these cookies allow website operators to link the actions of a user during a browser session. A browser session starts when a user opens the browser window and finishes when they close the browser window. Session cookies are created temporarily. What is Local Storage?
Local Storage is a very similar web storage component which allows web pages to store information inside of your web browser. It stores information even when you close your browser, just like cookies, however, data is not sent to the web server unless it is explicitly sent by the web page. It is often used to remember preferences within a web application or to cache content to improve performance. Elements stored in Local Storage are covered in this policy and treated the same as cookies as information stored in these elements is sent back to the server.
